Hawkeyes fall twice to Byron Center

BYRON CENTER, Mich. — The freshman could not muster enough offense in Monday’s final road doubleheader.

The team dropped two games, losing 7-2 in game one and 12-2 in game two.

“A couple tough losses again for us tonight,” Hamilton coach Josh Hoppe said after his team fell to 11-10-1 on the season. “We’re going to come back to practice tomorrow and work hard to get ready for Wednesday’s games against Unity.”

Ethan Buresh took the loss in game one. Nick Kronemeyer took the loss in game two.
